A 'freshen up' doesn't mean they put a hg on it, it is possible that all it needs is a new one. Maybe p.o. did the cam/drank/vc/oil pan seals. Good rule of thumbs is receipts or it didn't happen.

i had same problam jus put spot leak in ur coolent

i don't seem to be leaking oil into my coolant, or coolant into my oil. not sure what that would fix.

if he is gonna pay 250 for an m10, I bet he could shell out 400 for an m30.

i could by an LS6 to to throw in there, but i am already into a $400 car about $1200. i am trying to keep the cost down and work at a minimum. i ahve much more fun projects to be working on. this was intended to be a beater.

If you have to select from another m10 or m20, do an m20 swap. m10 is a gutless wonder w/o boost. I would not even bother doing an m4x swap, not even worth the hassle imho. With m20b25 your car should be faster than a factory e30 325i since it will still be lighter.
