dude, this is r3v. the home of cheep ass e30 owners. who cares if jon offers you $80? if you dont like the offer, say "no, i need $100 shipped" and be done with it. this isnt burger king, its the internet so haggle like its mexco or gtfo. dont get all but hurt over someone trying to get a killer deal.

90% of you guys are cheap bastards. ;)

in all seriousness, whenever i list something for sale, i list it AT the price i want for it. not above. not below.
of course everyone wants a deal.. but what good is a deal if both parties are not pleased with the end result? why should the seller walk away from it feeling like he's been ass raped, and why should the buyer feel like he's getting over on someone? it's just not cool.

if you see something of mine listed for sale, its at the absolute lowest i will feel ok selling it. from what i gather, this is not the norm, which is totally weird to me. i just cant get over on people and feel good about it.

when you're selling shit online, you need to be aware that everyone is 'usually' looking for a good deal, and won't hesitate to ask.

i'm just catching up to this thread, but if you did not put FIRM, AND you posted this on R3V, you better be prepared when someone throws out a different price from yours.'
while i don't know the value of these springs, making a callout thread about bartering online is just waffleswaffleswaffleswaffleswaffles, imo.

You're selling used springs for a 20 year old car. What the hell did you expect?

Exactly... Either reply "No, thanks" or leave them wondering about what happened and what they did wrong.

Someone somewhere has to pay for the bandwith you waste with this thread. Your also being a tool. He makes you an offer, all you had to do was say no. Also you are selling used auto parts on the internet, on r3v none the less, you should expect to be lowballed. If you do not like an offer just do not reply or say no.

First off, Jon is trying to build a LeMons car, so if he can save $20 that's huge and I don't blame him a bit for asking. He wasn't shitty until you were.

Secondly, you need to learn how to post an ad. If you want a set price, you say FIRM. If you don't, expect people to assume you're starting a bit high to allow room for negotiation. That's the way the world works, not just R3V.

This thread should be entitled "WTF is wrong with people who are newbs at life??"

OP you're a douchey, whiny waffleswaffleswaffleswaffleswaffleswaffles.

I was offered $300 shipped for a $1000 set of TMS headers that also included a custom downpipe to clear the stock CAB. That's a lowball and I didn't act like a whiny bitch about it.

Just returned the PM and said "Sorry that's not going to get it done."

Ban hammer for being a bitch.
