    RHD conversion

Just thinking about whats involved in making an e30 originally LHD into RHD... anyone done it or know anything about it? I tried searching but nothing came up.
I'm thinking dash, pedals, rack, booster ect but not really sure.

    Any knowledgeable input on this?

      Erm... WTF?

Why? It's a lot of trouble going off how difficult it is to convert an E30 M3 to RHD and not do a hack job.

If you're serious, you'll need the stupid, amazingly retarded brake bar which runs from the RH-side-mounted pedals, along the firewall (behind the dash/HVAC) to a knuckle in front of the LH-side-mounted booster/master cylinder. I will gladly supply this to you as I want this piece of hell spawn demonic Teut engineering out of my life. No wonder the fucking Germans lost both World Wars when they foist this shit upon us.

      *edit*
Here is a shit pic of the bar in question... the floating end there connects to the knuckle (in much the same way as a stock LHD pedal), which operates the booster.

it is kind of a bitch driving a RHD car on LHD roads BTW. i had a RHD bug for a while, left hand turns were a scarrrrry thing at lights, because you can't really see past the cars in the oncomming turn lane. spend the money on making the car faster, you'll be happier in the end.

Shipping cars to the USA can be done, but seems to be expensive and is a waffleswaffleswaffleswaffles getting through Homeland Security and Customs on your end.

The List of components off the top of my head for a LHD -> RHD M3 is:

                          Steering Column bracketry
                          Dash/Crash Pad etc
Pedal Box/Throttle Pedal mount and associated cables
Clutch Resivour and Mount, Clutch Line
                          Steering Rack and Coupler
                          Exhaust Mods
Moving a shit tonne of Wiring
                          Carpet

Its a big job, whole pile of stuffing around and for you I would have thought 100% pointless.
