I'm not even begining to touch on this subject.

Facts as far as I am concerned are simple...

Cops have NEVER done anything but cost me money and make my life harder.

2 times we have had our house/cars vandalized. Both times the person that did it left shit behind WITH THERE FINGER PRINTS ON IT.

Was anything ever done after the cops took said item bearing prints?

Nope.

Why?

No money in it for them.

A guy broke into my dad's truck while we were at the beach and stole his deck, our bodyboards, an expensive boardbag, and even our schoolbags.
Having alot of makeup work and saying it got stolen doesn't fly well with the teacher, I later failed the class.

The cops later found that same guy USING MY COUSINS schoolbag to ROB ANOTHER CAR, it had his name in it and all. He was released without any charges of theft, and they wouldn't even give us his name to take out some street justice.

Oh yeah, it takes 4 of them to give us a traffic ticket, and they can get there within 2 minutes. But when we called them it took 2 hours.

what does Iraq have to do with asshole cops here? none of us are saying we should blow the fuck out of them. but that doesn't mean we have to like them.

I'm going to mildly side with Jordan on this, mainly about the cops in Corvallis. Those guys are fucking NAZIS.

Seriously, the cops in that town invented the double-standard. When I lived there, I lived in an apartment with my then girlfriend, and every other tennant was a college student. 7 days a week, nothing but parties that went until 3-4 in the morning, regardless of how early I had to get up for work or how many times I asked nicely to keep the noise down. I must have called the cops 20 separate times and made god knows how many noise complaints. What did they to? Came to their doors and aksed them to quiet down, and that was it. I had a party in my apartment the night I moved out, and within 2 hours, I had 5 cops at my door, coming in and unplugging my stereo, and making people leave.

FUCK Corvallis cops.

ok my example was extreme, but i was just trying to make a point that you dont have to like cops but they do serve some sort of purpose.
