        They have the same engines, but the front valances are different so mounting it up would be a problem. You could always get the late model valance and plastic bumper.

        So it will work on the engine, might not on the car.

          It should just be a direct bolt on. I don't believe the cooler on the later models were any different from the early's. They were mounted to the lower rad support i believe. I put a late model valence on my 87 and had no problems with the cooler.
