I would get a good regulator from control-air or fisher, along with a coalescing filter to remove compressor oils. -
yeah but you gotta get all electiciany if you want to have a plug installed, and my garaging needs arent 60gal serious at the momentLeave a comment:

John, it is a lot easier to pipe the inlet outside than crane the entire compressor into the attic.Leave a comment:

400 bucks for a 60gal is theft, thats the price of a 30gal. Looks like im getting an aircompressor pretty soon
edit: though i dont wanna bother with 220v, so ill probly get a smaller one anywayLeave a comment:

John, did you seriously shove your air compressor in your garage ceiling?
Awesome!
well, until you gotta work on it. I see you ran an external water drain too.Leave a comment:

I have a friend that is selling his mini craftsman compressor. I haven't gotten a chance yet to look at it. I am thinking of picking this up 1st so I can take it to the track and be able to have my own source of air, then getting that $400 Husky one :) Thanks everyone for your input!Leave a comment:

Yeah, likely was the consequence of the whole "BS HP rating class action lawsuit" that got swept under the rug...lawyers still get paid, y'know?

Didn't even notice the price, they sure have jacked it up in the last year. I got it for under $300.Leave a comment:

Honestly, that Craftsman has plenty of SCFM at 90 psi to run an impact wrench, ratchet, and die grinder. It will not do well with air hogs like DA sanders, but it makes for a great homeowner-type unit. If you can get it on sale, that'd be best.
Remember. For $600, you could buy another E30, never mind an air compressor.Leave a comment:
