    Are these geniune Alpinas?

hi guys, I am looking at these wheels for my touring, I think the centre caps are replacements (fake) but wondering about the wheels themselves. We dont stumble upon these too often down here and would like to purchase them. But just want to make sure they're legit,
    Cheers,
    Nick

    FAKE

They have only 20 spokes while the Alpinas have 21...

Also, the spokes on real Alpinas are not square-cut like that; they are more rounded.

Isn't the valve stem under the center cap as well on real ones?

I think it is the other way around. that real ones have 20 spokes.

Here is the link to a set i had just like that. There is a R G stamped in the center of yours. theres this argument that Ronal Gmbh made the wheels for alpina.

              Fake ones have 19

              Original ones have 20.

those look fake, the center caps are wrong, no recessed place for the badge and my real ones have a key lock

i've never seen alpina reps in 16, so either they are real or they are in really high demand anyway.

it might just be the angle that makes them look sharp, but other than that they look real. alpinas are 20 and i think the repos are 19 spokes.

Those are Alpina replicas, but they are not Kopis. Real e30-fitment Alpinas did not have centercaps, the hubs' lugnut holes are all wrong, and the spokes on these wheels are a lot deeper than on an actual Alpina wheels.

The lip shape, however, is very close to a genuine Alpina wheel.

thanks for the further info, given that these type of wheels - 16" 4 x 100 are as rare as rocking horse shit down here I may just buy them anyway!

If they don't have "alpina" embossed on the hub they are repros. Kopis say "alpine" or "alpin" if I remember correctly but no "alpina" They look nice though.
