yep.. they are pretty damn rare. the large diameter MT1 wheels are everywhere for 100 bucks. this is the first small one i've seen come up for sale in a year. it's a VERY fair price...Originally posted by HollandThere should be a restraining order to keep kids 100 feet from that car at all times. re-read what i said. :P
I was saying gay because the seller basically implied that you have to be in to only pre-facelift cars to be a "hardcore" enthusiast.

Knowing first hand how much it cost to ship a steering wheel, the 50$ shipping charge is an automatic turn off. As if he's sitting on gold..-Jay

he's in germany, it's still a good deal with the shipping factored in.
i don't know why i'm even defending some ebay ad i have nothing to do with, but some of you are so ignorant it's hard not to.
let me lay this out really clearly:
1) whether some of you have a clue or believe it, this wheel normally goes for around $300, and is fairly hard to track down, it is smaller than the common mtech 1 wheels most of you have
2) the auction is in germany, so $50 to ship is probably fairly close to what it would really cost, and at the buy it now price, still gets you in under fair market value for this piece
3) i can get any of you who failed to understand point #2 a globe and/or calculator if that would help
4) some of you should do your homework before flapping your gums

i think you should reread the ebay auction.
he wasn't saying only early car owners were hardcore. he was stating the wheel was for hardcore e30 enthusiasts, but was also under the impression that the wheel would only fit an early car, so his parenthetical qualified which type of e30 enthusiast the wheel was for. it wasn't qualifying who he thought was hardcore haha.
read like: "for hardcore e30 enthusiasts with early cars".
don't be so paranoid brah, the ebay auction isn't challenging your bmw hardcoreness.
