    BMW Service Manual, worth it?

My buddy works at a BMW dealership and can get me the service manual that the mechanics use for $60. He says this is a good deal and the manual has everything I would ever need to know. I already own a Bentley manual so is the factory manual worth it?

for 60 bucks i'd considder it. The factory manual is pretty detailed and is far, far more broad in topics and specific in details than the bentley. However, with sites like this and others on the net, the need for an all in one manual is somewhat dieing out. I think if you ask, you can get information on pretty much anything that you would feel comfortable working on through here or elsewhere on the web
