My buddy works at a BMW dealership and can get me the service manual that the mechanics use for $60. He says this is a good deal and the manual has everything I would ever need to know. I already own a Bentley manual so is the factory manual worth it?

for 60 bucks i'd considder it. The factory manual is pretty detailed and is far, far more broad in topics and specific in details than the bentley. However, with sites like this and others on the net, the need for an all in one manual is somewhat dieing out. I think if you ask, you can get information on pretty much anything that you would feel comfortable working on through here or elsewhere on the webPNW Crew

That is available in PDF version almost everyone has it and im sure someone who is not looking to supplement their allowance will come up with it of you ask nicely. I had it then that laptop got stolen and since I cut checks anyway didn't look for it. Don't waste your money make friends.
