Made A brace for my skid plate today

There is a need for an All-Terrain skid plate. Some road's are so bad and some driver so low there is a call for a brace. So today I make one. For now it fits the M20. I think it will fit them all, but it will take some time to get all the cars in. I don't have a price now. I will also work on this. I'm out of town as of Friday and will not be back until the 30th. So give me some time to work it all out. Thank for the support.

PS please for give the mess. this is my Turbo car and I drive it daily. and Yes it is a leaky mess. But it just will not quit. So I have not pulled the motor for a rebuild. maybe this summer.

    No Welding.

Honestly don't think it's necessary, but cool I guess. Does it rattle at all with the brace contacting the skid plate?

No it's tight. The bar bolts to the plate and the frame.

That's what I was thinking, but the man says it doesn't rattle, lol.

Maybe if I try to catch sick air with my car I'll buy one of the braces. ;)

Now being that someone else has the same concept going already, what are the differences in this brace and the existing e30Werks one?

I'll be back later to check this thread, cause I'm heading out to get my hair DID!

                Two obvious differences:
-You don't have to weld this one
-ejnight is not a douche nozzle

I now have a great use for my old Merc sway bar.
How thick is the metal for the skid plate?

Well, do you want to do body work/welding to PERMANENTLY place a skid plate on your car? If not, go EJ's. Also, it will transfer vehicles if you tragically get into a total accident.

if you look at the first pic, you can see that the bar and the plate are bolted together. the bar is not just resting on the plate.

                            great looking product.
