Offering Plastic and Thermoset Phenolic Sheets, Angles, Round Rods, Hex Rods, Bars, Films, Tubes, Tubing, Balls, and Round Discs

McMaster-Carr is the complete source for your plant with over 595,000 products. 98% of products ordered ship from stock and deliver same or next day.

Locally is going to be your best bet though. Sheets of plastic get expensive to ship as they go up in size.

He probably wants to use it as a heatshield on his intake. Won't get that hot.

alluminum is preferred, but for cheap plastic, go buy a small garbage can at home depot.

Why would you want a a piece of metal that conducts heat over something does it less?

Go to a local sign shop and ask to look at the alumacore they have avaible, its a great insulator of heat. its two real thin layers of aluminum with plastic sandwiched in the middle.
