    what a tease...

I go to a local dealer to look at a 88 325i and the guy has two E30 M3s a black one and a red one which appeared in grassroots magazine. Black was going for about 15k and the red one was going for about 25k. All I know is it sucks to be broke.

campobello cars in SC. I wasn't looking to buy an M3 though, just the 325i. My dad had other thoughts in his head once he saw the M3s. He wants me to go into debt.

Is this the dealer that has those old minis, and the land rover series one and 2? I've been there once, was so envious of the whole lot.

yes. yes it is. and yes i was envious as well. I just cant wait for my spring semester to end to turn my E30 search into full time. Would you happen to know of any e30s around here for sale?

IMHO, M3's aren't that great unless you're on a track. They're kind of buzzy and high strung for street use, and the lack of torque unless you wail on it makes me love my 325is.

I Hear ya... can you get me the name of that shop, if you don't mind? I'd like to get some more info of those land rovers. Also i don't know of any immediately for sale around here, but i'll keep my eyes peeled for you. You looking for a 325i? or a 318?

Still... The M3 isn't THAT great. If it was 1989 sure... but the same driving feel/control is had in the 325iS IMO. Outside of the exceptional body lines/styling I would rather have a 325iS.
