Anyone ever try running either 87 or 89 with a jimC chip.. a buddy of mine was running 87 no problems in the his chipped e24. Fuel injection wise, i have a m30 afm w/ m20 electronics and ford 19# injectors...

yes. I ran 87 once in my car with a JC. It didnt like it at all.

87 is for a stock ECU.. with a chip you need 91, or you may as well go back to stock.Comment
