thats the same way they got into my car.. before i bought it.... all they stole was the stock anti-theft radio and busted out the driver side rear pop-out

just today, a friend (well, a customer has a jeep too) told me the theif or those suckers stolen his WRX 2001 wich had serius investement such wheels, turbo upgrade, custom interior(accesories) you know....anyways they took the whole car and I was gonna race him, we were goingt to have a meet this week and these shits happens!!!
I think they stolen his Subi yesterday just like me but I'm not sure yet.
PS: My car doesn't have alarm, will install one ASAP

Put a piezo inside, hidden under the bolster. Maybe replace the door gong with it. I put an interior alarm piezo (cant remember the KHz, higher the better) into a friends car that was 30w. At such a high frequency it met code for most small gymnasiums.
You couldnt be in the car for more than about 15 seconds before it made you dizzy. If you tried to stay in youd feel like vomiting.

What he said. I got the idea from my alarm installer days. It became a common deal around here since I was an installer and most of my friends were building USAC cars. What was in the car was worth more than the car itself.
I used a flush mount model desinged to be housed in a caddy ring. Basically a ring for mounting such things flush with walls. I think it would be easy to trim the faceplate to be held in by the clips for the gong.
