          Not worth 6K. Offer 4 or 4500

            270kms? Srsly?

$6k can buy a lot of e30. What's the exchange rate these days? IIRC it's almost even money in which case you should expand your search area and think about flying somewhere to pick up a car to drive home.

that's all we get here in Edmonton - crap. That's not a good deal. Maybe $3-4k.

Speaking of crap, there is a '91, 318is, no sunroof, 200k+ for sale on the north side. Head gasket is blown, so he's asking $500. Body is OK, alpine white, not great, cheap re-spray, quite ugly twin red-stripe down the hood and trunk. PM me and I'll give you his phone number.

That looks clean. Too bad about the autotragic. And really 270K Kms? a bit much but if e30's are rare by the neck of your woods then they need to carry a premium.

Seriously, I keep pairs of socks longer than you keep cars. It really doesn't matter what we say or what you buy does it? As soon as some little thing goes wrong with it you will be on here crying and moaning and then you will sell the car and go on and on about what a piece of shit it was.

You want my advice, put $1000 to $1500 of your budget aside for a flight and border charges etc. Fly to California or Arizona and pick up a rust free late model for less than half of what you can get one for here and then KEEP IT!

Or you could just keep jumping from "rusty, piece of shit" to "rusty, piece of shit" every two months right here in Alberta.
