The problem is the kid is going beyond a privacy concern to harrasment. A barrage of bills have been passed in the last couple years akining e-mail harassment to phone harassment. The big thing about wirefraud is its covered under the Commerce Clause so the Federal Govt has been hard at work getting their fingers deep into it, its not often they get to excercise it in a way that gets publicity so when they can they run with it.

Hence all the hullaballo over MP3 shit while people can still burn CDs locally just as easy. They only reason the federal govt cares to get in the act is because they can.

I think Jordan already has a copyright on his photos. The copyright makes it illegal to copy, distribute, or display the copyrighted works publicly.

Do not listen to what is stated above to have a valid trademark on file with the gov is one thing, and you must pay a filing fee small but there is one, this ensures that no else can use your work and will ensure victory in court.

Second this other copyright the common law copyright is indicated by the author if so stated, and then the court battle is over who can prove first production of the alleged infringed work, first, ie dated material showing that the work was original in nature first, that the work is a product of your efforts, ie you took the photo, The first is the big one though for photos b/c it has to eb original in nature the fact that this kid or any other in the neighborhood could come and take a photo of the car in the exact same manner as jordan could prevent recovery for infringement.

Cardomain just sucks, from fakes to idiots. I did see that one guy become emotionally unstable when Jordan said something like, "I dislike your flashy car." That triggered the guy into a frightened spree, about to kill himself. Plus cardomain doesn't really manage their site.
