Exactly why I went with OEM quality stuff. For us North Americans, your Euro equipment is a solid upgrade for us, with absolutely no rasp like you get with home-made fabbed up equipment or fleabay items.

Actually have mine for sale now if anybody here in the 48 is interested.

The OEM 3.2l euro exhaust is 2.25" stock. I will not put a stock exhaust on my E30M3, it will be to silent. I love in line 6 sound :D
I just have to see how it turns out, I fear that it is going to be a on and off project in search for the optimal sound. Am I lucky, will I hit the tune at first attempt. Have spent lots of time on youtube hearing on different exhaust sounds, and a impression that I have made my self is that thin pipes gives that raspy and snarring sound.

An Y-pipe right after the headers that goes into a 3" black steel and a free flow Simons silencer, and a Simons silencer at rear with 3" in and two outputs for my DTM tips :D
      Or mayyyybeee a 4" diesel tip ;)

The right thing to do will probably be to buy a Supersprint Race for E36M3 and modify it to fit the E30!
