      ^hah same here.
I was planning on getting the 3" MAF and WAR combo to run N/A for a little while and then go turbo in the future.

To the three MAF size questions...

The actual sensor is the same for the different size MAF's except for the 4" MAF. The 2.7" MAF is the proper match for a stock displacement M20 and the e with I head conversion.

The 3.0" MAF is suitable for 2.8L and up M20 engine, as well as the M30 engine.

The 3.5" housing is what is used for turbo M20 applications.

Again, the sensor is the same, the housing size varies. Now the reason for the different sizes is based on air flow needed.

We have specific tunes for the housings and application, you need the 3.0" housing for 2.8L and up strokers because the engine is flowing more air than the sensor can meter in the smaller housing.

You wouldn't want to use the 3.5" housing on a stock M20 as you would lack resolution of air flow and your engine and tune would not be optimal. You can't run the 2.7" housing with a turbo because you will run out of resolution.

If you buy a MAF for a stock displacement set up, and later turbo charge your car, you need the larger housing. But that is why we list things separately, all you need to do is buy the proper housing size, and stick your sensor in that.

Does that make sense? It's been a long day :P

That makes more sense to me now. Looks like I'll be going with a 3.5" housing for the M30 transplant (eventually) since I'm hoping to boost it down the road.

            Ok so 3.5 for a boosted M20...
is there a throttle body change needed or is to ok?
If it's under boost will it flow more..
I'm alittle confused on the CFM flow rate while under boost.
example only: if our throttle body only flows N/A lets say 230cfm and the MAF is 550cfm , will the throttle body allow more under boost?

All our tunes are draw through. The MAF is in front of the turbo. The stock throttle body will we fine for 90% of peoples power goals.

Our turbo m30 tunes requir our 4" MAF sensor.
