Thanks Luke, I love the look of LM's on these. Definitely going to keep the OEM stuff, but keep in mind this baby has 175k on the clock. It's no show carLeave a comment:

Modding your car hinges on two things: what you want & how much you can afford. Its like the hot-rodders motto: "Speed costs money, how fast you want to go?"
In the case of the E30 M3, if it were me I wouldn't get too over the top with upgrades....pretty much bolt-on stuff. These cars are retaining they're value well - keep the mods easy so you can return it to stock should you decide to sell someday.
With that said, mods I would do (in this order)....
address any maintenance issues
attend a few auto-x's or track days
wheels/tires
brakes
suspension
seats
engine/drivetrain/exhaust

It's not mint by any means. I plan on modding it, but keeping it classy. Fun for my Saturday car.

X2.
If you must mod this car, drop it with a set of springs, NOT coilovers. Maybe urethane TABs, CABs, they really help handling and that "planted" feel...but leave that beauty alone.
Wheels, maybe.
Bolt ons ONLY. Keep the stock stuff somewhere safe.

Tell me how to mod my M
Just picked up an E30 M yesterday. Tell me how to mod it. :) Considering my limited knowledge of modding on these from lurking here and s14 I am thinking the following:
Turner or Dinan chip, E46 CSL seats or replica Porsche GT3 seats, 17" bbs lm's, and possibly some Evo III parts
All input wanted :)
