Advice for a newbie? Found a nice e30 at a used car lot

It's in New Jersey. I have a strict no used cars in New Jersey policy.

Mine too but it includes New York as well. I would consider other Northeastern States but it would have to be REAL nice.

That's almost excactly what I'm looking for. Right now, $3500 is little high for me, but maybe soon we can talk about meeting up.
