    anything else I need?

    Hey guys,
I just bought some suspension on here from a guy and he told me that the shocks have one female gland and one male gland nut. Is there anything I need to make this work on my early model 318i? I'm hoping to change my suspension out this weekend when I get the parts but I wanna make sure I have all the parts before I do. Any help would be appreciated. Here are pics of the struts.

rear shocks and springs all around. spring compressors. shock mounts. and you can probably reuse one of the old gland nuts cuz i dont think the one with threads on the inside will work. maybe drophats/e90 hats. control arms. end links.

Oh boy. I hope those aren't 325 inserts. Early 318 uses a smaller strut housing.

Early 318's and non abs 325's used smaller inserts, 325e, 325i, late 318i, etc used larger diameter inserts on the front.

Been a while since I looked at a 318i strut but pretty sure it uses the female. You might be able to use one of the originals, but would at least have to hog out the opening to fit the bilstein and it still might not work. I'd just look at your car, figure out what you need and not start the job until you have everything.

You can see the gland nuts on your car without taking anything apart too.
