Not exactly the cleanest install, probably one of the hardest cars to service, but probably a great handling car. :)

if i had to guess id say that was done in a barn somewhere buy a couple of guys with no teeth. its a sweet concept executed poorly. probably a riot to drive tho. starsky must have chose the theme

More than hammering made that possible. You're talkin' chopped up firewall and several fab'd bits to form a new one. The S38 is one of BMWs heaviest lumps of metal, but sitting back that far into the chassis works out greatly for the low polar moment of inertia. Seeing the rest of the car is extensively stripped, I can only imagine just how fast that mo-fo must be now :shock:

look at that thing. it was a good idea but it looks like shit. maybe my standards are higher than yours but if im going to build something its going to function well and look good.
i still think it would be a riot to drive but its nothing to look at

Looks to be a home built rat in Germany. But I can imagine it hauls some serious butt around.

the car is in austria, who knows what they do up in the hills there. lotsa moonshine involved in that one! what an ugly e36 front bumper though. If only i had a few grand laying around, its not far from me, i would buy it in a second and give it the details it needs so badly!

Looks like thats a plastic fan shroud and the radiator is right behind it. Very easy to overlook. Wouldn't mind beating the piss out of it.
