I dont think cleanliness was concern there. Its an interesting purpose built car. I wonder what classes it ran in?
And why the hell does it have a plastic radiator?Im now E30less.

I don't know why they didn't go the next step and weld in a tube chassis in the front.San Diego BMW repair -> Jake @ www.littlecarshop.com Great guy :up:Comment

if i had to guess id say that was done in a barn somewhere buy a couple of guys with no teeth. its a sweet concept executed poorly. probably a riot to drive tho. starsky must have chose the themeComment

More than hammering made that possible. You're talkin' chopped up firewall and several fab'd bits to form a new one. The S38 is one of BMWs heaviest lumps of metal, but sitting back that far into the chassis works out greatly for the low polar moment of inertia. Seeing the rest of the car is extensively stripped, I can only imagine just how fast that mo-fo must be now

Looks to be a home built rat in Germany. But I can imagine it hauls some serious butt around.Comment

the car is in austria, who knows what they do up in the hills there. lotsa moonshine involved in that one! what an ugly e36 front bumper though. If only i had a few grand laying around, its not far from me, i would buy it in a second and give it the details it needs so badly!Comment

Looks like thats a plastic fan shroud and the radiator is right behind it. Very easy to overlook. Wouldn't mind beating the piss out of it.Originally posted by Ryan StewartAnd why the hell does it have a plastic radiator?
