    They only made 5000 golf rallyes they were never officially brought into the US. VW was considering bringing making them for the US market but it never happened. I've seen them on vwvortex for aroun 20K for a nice one. The only thing is, is that these cars may be here illegally. The reason is that cars need to be 25 years old to be imported from another country. There was a guy in NY that bought a rallye and the govt stepped in and crushed it. Thankfully he parted it all out first and brought a bare shell for them to crush. Right now he is using all of the body panels to put on his gti to make it look like a rallye.

          I know this one was floating around up in Hendersonville TN a few years ago. Not sure where it is today or what condition it is in though.

              The guy that once owned that and might still does is Steve Nichols. He worked with Autronic and was the guy that tuned my GTI.
