Im getting the notion that you want your car to be "slammed". Youre gonna need to buy springs for that, or else youll be bottoming out with how soft the stock springs are and trust me, you dont want that. Dont get coilovers just get a good set of Ireland Engineering or Eibach or H&R's. You will not be happy with the ride quality, man. Trust us on this. Thats what were here for.

If you want cheap you can get the Kyb, Vogtland setup on fleabay. Much better than cutting stock springs.

i would do 2 front and 2 rear. you can always cut more, and its going to settle some as the shock blows.

just make sure to keep your hands out of the way if you cut them on the car, and make sure to hold the rears in the hat when you lower it back down.

I responded to this thread hoping to throw some caution at the OP, but cleary he's going with his botched plan anyway. I'd like to see your results the day after and a month later.

As did I. I didn't mean to cause a huge debate or come off as a dick, I just wanted to mention my experiences with the subject. I guess I didn't notice or know that he was planning on cutting stock springs.

On r3v its easy to tell when someone is clearly being a dick for the sake of it or interjecting based on experience. Since you were doing the latter s'all good.
