Anyone ever used a bubble balancer before. Harbor freights got one on sale and im thinking about picking it and a mounter up. Ive seen some mods done to the mounters, like plasti dip and a stabalizer. Good way to have a diy tire service.

Ive done a 225 55 17 with no trouble. The low pros are a little pain in the ass and a run flat may be impossible but it sure beats taking them to a shop at 15 bucks a pop. The tool pays for itself in 2 tires. Now its the balancing that im going for. There arent many options.90 m20isComment

Sounds like you need to make friends with a tire shop. I pay $10 a pop for mounting, balancing, and disposal of the old tires. I have access to the machines but its not worth the frustration.Your signature picture has been removed since it contained the Photobucket "upgrade your account" image.
