a friend of mine has a 528e he's looking to get rid of for cheap, i don't want to say how cheap, but i'm pretty much stealing it, if i go for it. it's auto (bummer), black on red (sweet), 105k, runs, but apparently bogs around 2500 rpm so i'd have to diagnose that, and seeps a bit of tranny fluid @ the hoses to the cooler or something (per the p.o.), and has some rust in the sunroof, and drivers side doors. i can either buy it, fix, it, and flip it for some loot to spend on the e30, or fix it & dd it so i can take the e30 off the road as needed for longer projects such as suspension & brake rebuilds. ok, i guess i should say what it's going for, $600, maybe less. is it worth it, or should i save my cheddar for my true love?

Check the vacuum hoses they may be loose or worn. Also a tune up would help. You should go for it. The eta's are amazing and the e28 is even sicker.Your signature picture has been removed since it contained the Photobucket "upgrade your account" image.

yeah, if it wasn't an auto, i'd really have to think harder about it, at this juncture if i bought it, it'd be to fix, flip, and put the profit into the 325. idk, he's not actively marketing it, so the opportunity isn't gonna disappear anytime soon. the e30 is definitely #1 priority at the moment. how much i can get done in the next few weeks is gonna dictate if i make it to v@v and the smoky mountain rally. i sold my 100cs quattro just before moving, and as much as i like the big autobahn cruisers, the coupe is way more useful for most dd duties.Originally posted by DozyproductionsYou know why you're drinking that Pabst? No its probably not because it was the first beer you grabbed. It's because you're a winner.
