355 Challenge? That game rocks, only played it once though.

yea 355 that game was fucken HOT that and Stunt driver? had the most realistic feel in the arcade unlike Daytona 500 where they speed up the car in the back to make the game more exciting.

long beach gp course was the shit on 355 challenge. the hairpin at shoreline drive was teh tits. also there was that crazy chicane at monza. damn i want that thing in my living room.

The Ferrari game is good.

So is the Indy game with the bigass moving cars. I whooped in that game. Daytona 5000 with the big stationary cars too. 8 Player link races rock.

I forgot where I was playing the 8 player link but the winner got a free game I won about 8 or 9 in a row... I felt like i had an E30 with a custom body kit on it for a few mins there.

Rumor has it you can blow your engine although I doubt it...... I've been running my FD with the check oil light on and a Stage 5 turbo and the car still drives.

I love the suspension tuning. Things are a lot more significant now. The only complaint I have is that drifting takes a huge toll when it comes to keeping the rear end out. You usually lose a lot of speed in a drift to the point you stop (unless you spray some nitrous)

We had that here at a place called Sega City (now Playdium). I went like 5 Games I think when I was 13. Old men get grumpy. But Id normally take people out on my way to the top

The penalty for hitting shit (or getting nudged by a CPU) is fucking gay. Coasting for 5 seconds is not my idea of fun.

...not to mention all the cars handle like fucking sleds.

You're kidding me? So basically you're saying you want a game that requires absolutely no skill and any idiot can win.. woohoo.

Finally a game that requires you to know something about how to really drive a car on a race track, oh wait, I forgot that you don't actually know what it's like to be in a real road race :oops:

That being said, I love the game. The car's handle perfectly. If you know how to drive a real car, then you can haul ass in the game. If you are a "Need for Speed Underground" racer...well then you'll never be good at Gran Turismo, simply because NFSU is the most unrealistic driving game ever. The only thing that was holding back previous GT games is the fact that you could wedge your controller underneath a table while you let the Escudo win endurance races for you by running a long the wall. GT4 still lets you get away with too much.
