What's wrong with the wiper motor? Try jimmying the wiper switch back and forth while moving it up and down, if the wipers work you need a new switch. Had the same problem with mine when i bought it, changed the switch now it works perfectly.

When the PO outright lies about half the problems with the car. I mean flat out lies. Not not telling me, but lying. Also we made an agreement. As is, but as is after I drive it home. Sure enough I discovered most of his lies as I first drove it home.

The front passenger window has a hard time closing, but makes it eventually. I hear this is a common problem and an easy fix. It's definitely the button, and not the window motor. I know this because if I push the button over to two one side, and only push it down about halfway, the window cones right up, one of those problems.

Not 100% sure about the fuses, just wanted to check em out. There are a couple of minor issues that are either fuses or not. Such as the light on the right side of the instrument cluster. The tach and temp gauge don't come on. Also the driver doo only locks from the inside, and when the door is closed....but it doesn't have power locks, so I'm sure it's something to do with the latch or the lock cylinder.

Also, the drivers side rear door is jammed shut.

Speaking of Bronzit, the paintjob is the last issue I'm going to address, but would like to know what to do. I'm not sure if it needs a complete paint job, or just some touch ups. Or clearcoat. What's clearcoat?

Clearcoat? it's the Final Stage or i should say the Final Stage of painting....

Bondo-sand-mask-tape and Paint, i work at a bodyshop and we use "water based" Paint rightnow, they used to use "oil based"....so yah it's the final stage of painting. After you do put the clearcoat, let it dry and wetsand+buff and put Your shine on'

If it wont lock from the outside you need a new cylinder, however the door lock is made to not be able to lock when the door is open, to keep you from locking your keys in the car

That sounds like the time consuming and expensive method that I was hoping to avoid. Of course, if I have no other choice, and I must go through the process, the car is being painted black. http://www.r3vlimited.com/board/imag...es/bronzit.gif

However, if all I need are some touch ups, then I'll stick to bronzit and go the cheap route. All that really needs repainting is the hood, roof, and front fenders (were obviously replaced at some point).

And the pinstripe needs redoing as well.
