I'm game to try.. will the war chip support it?
I put an M90 on a 2.8V6 and the little thing screamed and it was a draw through a 2bbl carb...
I'm still on the fence with the turbo-ing my M20.. always wanted a turbo'd car
but a supercharger is just as cool..... might be fun on the flat hp and trouq band of the 2.5 I6
Would love to read some feed back from some one how has already done this..

What most people think are twin screws are in fact roots type blowers. I reaaaally want a twin screwed motor.

All of the blowers mentioned so far (including the Stillen on those drift cars) is a "twin screw" Lysholm type which make way more power at low RPM than the Roots type.

The biggest hang up seems to be having to design a new intake manifold for the setup that of course attaches to the charger, then stuffing all that, +AFM/MAF, +airbox, on the drivers side of the car.

I can build it in CAD and use our suppliers at work to make them...I'm just lazy. Anyone want to put in the grunt work of designing it?

You would need to do it the r3v way -- all of the parts must be available at the local junkyard and/or Home Depot. The cost of the parts must not exceed $400, and they should be a direct bolt up. It also needs to run on a factory tune or $50 ebay chip.

Doesn't a twin screw replace the intake manifold? I would love to do this to my m20...

It wouldn't have to, but is easiest from a packaging perspective. The twin screw s52 above replaces the manifold with an integral air to water intercooler. I've been wanting to do this for a loooooooong time now.

If only sourcing the blowers wasn't so hard. And expensive.

Bahn Brenner sells them for around $2000

They're used in 4cyl applications though, so i don't know if they would be suitable for the I6.

They've got 80% efficiency and put out 1.32L per revolution.
Anyone know the L per revolution of the 6cyl spec lysholms out there?

Do want. The louder the whine the better. Even cobalt SS S/Cs with intakes sound cool because of the whine.

Which way would be cheaper? Is there any way to mount a supercharger that way on an e30?
