The space needle is overrated, do the Seattle Underground tour in pioneer square, which includes a discount to the Smith Tower observation deck (better view than the needle and no lines), and grab a pint or two at Fados around the corner.

The Experience Music Project is a fun way to spend an afternoon.

Did you ever see the guy who stood in front of the "first" starbucks? I think he has a wooden spoon and says that it's not the first starbucks blah blah blah, scary.

I live less then 5 minutes away from UPS :)
and that makes me 10 minutes out.
I can make it to James' in about 7 minutes with no traffic. And that is in my Camry. SO HA!!!

Alki beach will be packed and is a great place to relax, bike, run, or sit and look at the city, mountains.

I agree the Pink Door is awsome. Wild Ginger is spendy but very very good. Dont waste your money to be seen. I would go to Wild Ginger.

If you all plan a meet I might show up in my E30 or my dads new E28 M5.

I've never been a fan of Wild Ginger. If you'll be going out in a group bigger than 2, I'd recomend Boca De Beppo. Really awesome family style (family sized portions) Italian place. Just be sure to make reservations and expect a 15 minute wait min. There's a Ducatti dealership around the corner though so can go gawk at the perty bikes if you get boored.

Also check out the Crocadile Cafe and see if they have any spoken word or some such going on. Made it to one of their "Iron Composer" nites and it was awesome.

Most of the clubs are around Capitol Hill and in Pioneer Square though I'm pretty sure the more mainstream stuff is in Poineer Square.

I definately recomend hitting the Pike Place Market around lunch time and just walking around the place and checking things out. There's alot of good food to be found and some cool artwork and the like.

the Met is definitely a good place to grab some food. I've only been there twice, but its very good. The underground tour is definitely something to do, space needle really is overrated. EMP is kinda fun, as well as some other stuff down there in the science center area. Definitely try Dicks, its a small chain in seattle *100 times better than any in-n-out*

You should go to the Pike Place Market and get some of those little doughnuts. Take a ferry to Vashon island and just cruise. There's only two cops on the whole island.

Well, I am here. Great weather so far. Today consisted of the EMP, then a mono-rail ride to the shopping district. Shopped all day with the woman. I am spent.

Saturday I am planning on going to the underground tour and the Met for dinner. If any of you guys are around, maybe we could meet up for a little while.

So far, I saw a killer 2002 (yellow with black rims/polished lip and for sale) and a black e30 M3 with Oregon plates.

I will check this thread later to see if anyone has time on Saturday.
