A Nice Story.

It was a thursday night and a few mates were comming over for a few drinks, some pool, the usual. I decided to go to the bottle'O to get some booze. there were 3 of us in my car. it was about 8pm when i left when we arrived the bottle'O was shut. i was not happy. we were in a large carpark no cars. so i decided to express my frustration by doing a burnout :D initially i only intended to do a U-turn. the back came around nicly, it was swinging a little fast so i let it keep going came to a stop wheels still spinning. smoke all inside the car bynow. i was having fun. so i went for another 360... with that out of my system we left. just made a orange light and skided sideways on to the main road.
then out of nowhere, i see the amazing red/blue lights flashing in my rearveiw mirror. and hear the sweet sweet siren of the police. :D pulled over.... bla bla bla... cut a long story short my car got confiscated. MY car is currently the property of Queensland state police. for 48hrs. i watched it get toed away (at my expence). I have to go to court. may get charged with "driving with out due care" :D bla bla bla...
got picked up by a mate. found a Bottle'O that was open. Got pissed.
had to ride my bike to work at 6 this morning. :D

highlight: the office said, and i quote "lots of smoke. best ive seen for a long time" while smiling.... aparently he was with in 50m of me.... Barstard.

I guess you guys down under like to use nicer terms... "driving without due care" would probably translate to "reckless driving."

well if i wasnt laughing. id be crying... hmmm.

can pick up my car in about 28 hrs. do you guys have laws like car conferscation(?) over there.. if i get caught a second time doing burouts illegal racing whatever they take it for 3 months.

yeah your car can be impounded here, but they don't usually do that if you're just doing doughnuts. they'd probably just give you a fat ticket or something, or if you were being especially stupid, they might arrest you.

got my car towed 6months ago for racing, it was sad. The come never showed up to court, I was very happy!

went to court the other day. got $400 fine.
and 3 months no driving for me. :(

Yeah mine too. it was weird hearing my car start up, then seeing someone else drive it out of the compound.

I never really used public transportation, always had my bike, I rode that thing everywhere. Of course it took twice as long, in most cases :D
