SO CAL free rear diff if take out and put one in

so i have a 1988 eta auto i think it either has the 3.46 or 2.93 not sure but works great.I'm picking up a trany from a 1987 325i and rear should have 4:10
If you want my rear you can have for free just pop it out and put other in its yours.If you put in the auto trans for me I will pay you 150.00 and if you want the other its yours just it stoped working.I live in Orange County

88 ETA is 2.93 stock and 87 325i is 3.73 stock. Things get changed over the years though so you might want to check the diffs and verify first.

It's kind confusing i read online a chart of the e30 specs by year and options
It said on one 3.46 on a 1988 eta auto
and also read 2.93 on the eta so not sure
I also read 4:10 on the 1987 325i auto but also saw 3:73
either way 3:73-4:10 on auto is good
and other gears better for a stick.
If your right than 3:73 lsd would be cool on my auto
My tranny dumped on me after just buying car doing all stroker 325i parts and a ride around the block.
It seemed to drive real slow for what i expected not sure if thats just cuase the auto was dying.
I'm used to my e36 sc m3 5 speed

88 528e super ETA came with some 3.46 on the auto's but as far as I know, all 88 E30 325's came with 2.93. In 87-88 the only gear on the 325i was the 3.73. 4.10's came on the automatics later.
