Evo vs. M3

Sell your E30 and M3 and get an EVO. You are not going to have time to finish your M3 project while you're at school, so you probably wouldn't even get to drive it for 4+ years. get an EVO now and if you still want an M3 when your older then you can start looking again.Leave a comment:

You may find that procuring an Evo VII in the US will be a bit tough. Maybe try going for the VIII. ;)
I drove my buddy's IX MR, I think I'd get arrested in a week if I owned that car. It's retarded fun and pretty quick, even in stock form.Leave a comment:

yeah I probably could do that but the m3 needs about 10 grand invested in it to get it where I want to be. I got it for extremely cheap though so I know I can pour money into it and get every penny and more out of it if I decide to sell. I just couldn't really fund that project and make payments on an evo. If i could keep both that would be ideal.Leave a comment:

Sell your 318, keep the m3 at your parents house while youre at college, and get an evo VII. The m3 when finished properly will be worth it.Leave a comment:

I'm thinking more like an evo 8 or 9 MR edition if I could find one.Leave a comment:

Evo vs. M3
Alright guys. I've looked all over and of course finding a comparison of a 20 year old car to something new like an evo is about impossible to find so I'm looking for some advise from people that have possibly driven both and aren't just stuck up BMWs ass. Basically I just graduated highschool and I'm off to college soon and I have a 318IS DD and a m3 project car. After riding in and driving my friends STI its hard for me to want to hold onto my cars. I prefer the STI looks over an evo but the evo is the better performer and thats what I look for in a car so I'm debating dropping what I have and possibly picking up an evo but I've never driven an e30 m3 so I'm really skeptical I might miss out on "the ultimate driving experience". Sure, the 318 is a fucking beast around corners but lacks power... If i were to finish my m3 I'd do the 2.5 build on it so it should be pretty quick. I don't know, its a really hard choice I just need some input from people with more experience then me. Maybe I'm just getting burnt out on bmws from constantly looking at them on the internet....Tags: None
