Sorry to hear about that. I only use my bank card at bank ATM's. Everything else is cash or credit.

Mag reader to read the card - it sits over the slot that you normally insert your card. And a small camera that points to the keypad.

Most are russian made IIRC.

Yeah...it's been getting worse and worse here lately. My entire family's information was compromised recently.

We believe someone followed my mother from the local Vallarta Supermarket and took her briefcase right out of the car when she got home. Since then, numerous changes have been attempted on almost all of our cards/accounts, and some succeeded due to negligence on the card companies, and a very large amount of funds have been compromised.

So far all the attempted account changes/openings have been with our names plus a "Garcia" and "Rodriguez"...shopping at super high end stores such as "sears". Some scumbag gives his depository of a wife a stolen/cloned card to go buy their 13.5 inbred children some sharpies and hair grease. I always wondered how those uneducated fucks got all their "fancy" clothing.

Can't afford an education or birth control, but somehow manages to buy 5 pairs of $150 rainbow colored shoes and a outfit to match.

I have had someone change the mailing address for my bank before. They had all of my bank info sent to another address and then they requested new cards.

Then I went to the bank and they were like oh yes we can fix this for you. They took care of it suspiciously easily.

@ Derick - Seriously man, I'm so fed up with this bullshit. For now on when I go to any machine regarding my card, I'm going to yank everything before sliding my shit. Although I might look retarded, I know for a fact I'll find one of these "card skimmers."

@ cobraken - I wouldn't be surprised if it was an inside job. We all know there's bad people working under the radar, per se.

Awesome, I got half of it back so far. Waiting for the other half of my money to be credited back. It's so blatantly obvious that I didn't take my own money and try to get more money.
