    Alignment readings - do they look reasonable?

    Sabine just had a full overhaul - Bilstein/H&R Sport, ST swaybars, CAB, bushings, rear camber/toe correction kit, z3 rack, tie rod, wheel bearing, etc...

    I had an alignment done at Firestone today and asked for the printout. Not all of the readings are withing specs. I'm not an alignment expert, but do they look reasonable?

      thanks, should i be concerned about the rear toe? the left (0.61) and right (-.35) seem really off.

        They are only 3 tenths of a degree difference, so you won't notice a difference. 0.3º would mean the tire is ~1/16" more in on one side. And that is measuring at the very outer edge of the tire.

          i would fix the rear toe. fix the left side.

            took sabine out on the highway today ~80mph to see straight line stability. the alignment made a HUGE difference. will have to take her back to have them look at the rear driver-side toe.

              Aren't they 9 tenths different? .61 and -.35. I only ask because I'm wondering if 9/10th's makes a difference to anything, because that's about where my rears are.

                No, one is toed in and one is toed out. So you've got about .45 degrees of thrust angle, and .3 degrees of total toe. Think of it this way: if one was 1 degree and the other was -1 degree, your wheels would still be parallel, but your car would be traveling just a tiny bit sideways.

                I would get that cross camber in the rear corrected. Even with adjusters they can't bring it any closer than that?

                  it was done at a Firestone near my work and i don't think the people there are very competent after an incident i had with them balancing wheels. i might try another firestone.
