I am pretty sure that the allen screw is for the idle CO adjustment. I had an MK2 Digifant Jetta hooked up to an exhaust gas analyzer, cranked that screw every which way, and it had absolutely no impact on anything. Something may have been wrong with mine or it actually isnt for CO adjustment but whatever. I didnt see any difference with it either.

i was kidding its for the bypass idle air. your tps has 3 settings, closed(idle),part throttle, and full throttle. at make sure your tps is adjusted to the closed setting, you should barely here it click to part throttle when you open the butterfly, some people to try to adjust the idle with the butterfly screw and fuck it all up. with that done, tighten that allen screw clockwise to stop then back it out 3 turns, your final air adjustment with that screw will be determined by how much wanking around you do with the afm springcog. if it never works right you may need a new idle control module.sigpic
