SETA is NOT an "i" head (885 casting) on the standard flat top 2.7L eta engine: it has an 885 head, manifold, and Motronic 1.3 on a 2.7 with pop up pistons.

Can't just drop an "i" cam in it either, cam lube oil passages have to be drilled.

    It is 1988 specific.

If your car is an eS, it should have an LSD, sport seats, 13 button OBC, premium sound and is generally all leather. Most importantly, it has its own airdam, like the iS, only lacking in the inner 2 vents, as the eS has no oil cooler.

    Welcome to R3V.

Thanks for the info on the eS bit.

On the head part, you say that you can't just drop the cams in but can you swap over the 885 head to a 2.7 block, just bolt it up? Or do you still have to drill oil passages?

The difference is in one of the attached pictures.

Yeah I stumbled onto that last night when I was drooling over parts and wheels lol. I actually know a guy that is going to give me a set thats in his garage and wants to just get rid of since he doesn't own an e30 anymore so I'm going to try them and see if I like em... if not then I won't be out a dime.

I want to thank all you guys for the info and knowledge on this and I'm sure I'll see you around the forum as my build will be starting tomorrow (very pumped)
