    wsup R3VLIMITED?

Somewhat new to the site, but very new to E30s.

Finally pulled the trigger on a 1988 325 4 Door. Long story short, Im moving from a great neighborhood to a NOT so good neighborhood, and was kind of forced to sell my 1991 mustang gt, if i didnt want to lose any money on it. Here she was before i sold her.

anyways, i got it just so me and the wife would have a second car, but already i see it being a money pit! haha. I know how aggrevating it is to hear things over and over, but i am new, and i been roaming this site for about a month before buying my E30, and i just couldnt find any threads regarding my questions.

do you guys have a preferred site to get parts?
im looking to just make the car look GOOD! as far as i know the car has been well maintained, and im not all that worried about it. im basically gonna use the car as a cruiser/ errand runner.

i want to lower it as low/ comfortable as i can get it, get some wheels, an mtech ii kit? and respray all the trims, and moldings.
can i get websites for options on exterior parts? oem, and aftermarket.
what springs/ struts do you guys prefer? part number pls?!
and i want at least 16" rims, any suggestions on width, offset, and tire size??
itll be somewhat of a budget build.. SOMEWHAT. haha.

    THANKS IN ADVANCE!!! -MITCH.

BTW her she is after a quick Photoshop on MS PAINT i did while bored at work. Im looking for a look something like this...

        Welcome to R3vlimited:

E30's are awesome cars, i've had so many cars but i keep going back to an e30...they are just awesome cars and will go forever if well taken care of!

To answer your question: If you want to lower the car, mostly people on R3v go with H&R sport springs and bilstein shocks...they lower the car respectfully and give a good solid comfertable ride...if you want a little lower, then either H&R race springs or GC coils.

Exterior it depends on what you looking for...abrahamotorsport or somthing like that is a good website if you're looking for exterior upgrades like: headlights, trims, Mtech 2 body kit etc...

for the wheels 16's are the best on e30s, most people go with 16's some do 17's but it's hard to pull off....it depends if you want a lower offset wheels or just some aftermarket nice wheels....i like lower offset wheels, you could run as much as 16X9's on the rears with a little bit of rolling the fenders, of course et10-et15 is good, you just need some 215-or 205 tires. depends if you like the stretch look or not...

hope i answerd some of your questions lol

I kept the diving board bumpers on my 88, and now I'm happy i did. 88 is the only year with the diving boards and facelift tails/valence, so it's sort of cool to have one.

Angel eyes headlights look like a blind man. Don't do it.

M-tech II kits are really rare used and expensive. Don't get a feebay fiberglass kit.

Just do a plastic bumper swap. Euro grilles, smoked ellipticals.. then blow a ton of cash on baller status wheels (Borbet Type A's, thats what I want your car to have), and lower it. Really lower it.

                      Instant r3v approval, basically.

where in the bay area do you live? plans sound expensive, mtech II = quite expensive...unless you buy a rep. kit from eurostop usa...i dont know much about their stuff though...

thanks man, i wanted to have both.. its just here in the bay area foxes are stolen and broken into left and right, and where were moving to is one of the hottest spots there is.
