I know how he bought it. He borrowed 10K from his parents, then after getting the car, he took it up to 88 miles an hour, traveled to 1955, then got a sports history book and started betting on sports. After the first horse race, the rest was history. :D

One mint one sold at an auction here on the Plaza for $14k. They arent much of a car built by a crazy man, only cool because they were in a movie.

I know 3 guys at OSU with deloreans. I think they paid around 3-5k for them.

It's a redneck ferrari for lack of a better term. Zero power, interior like an 84 C4 vette, "meh" handling, but it will get you chicks.

Too much money is the kid with a 360 Modena a few years ago at the highschool with a lunch lady with a H1 with lots of off road equipment all over it. Not too mention too many E46s for chicks who got their license a day before.

I dont have a delorean, but my eta's polaris paint has faded into a shade very similar, not to mention all of the swirls and scratches it looks like it was buffed with a brillo pad, does this count ? - Graham
