Don't forget to save the 3 pieces of rubber that are between the top of the front bumper & the body - 2 of the 3 are NLA - yours can be cleaned & reused.
I remember you telling me that, yes. Told the body guy the same info you told me.;)

    Thanks Jack!!

Most painters like to mask around the door locks. I would suggest pulling the little black cover that goes around them off. Then you dont have that paint build up. Also the trims that go around the gutter are really easy to pull off and put back on. I would do that also. a whole 5 minutes worth of work.
Im sure you get the idea, its the little things that count.
All that window trim is coming off.Just masked up so it dont get hit with the sander.

    some more pics...

just wait its going be like falling in love all over again!

Glassurit is what we used on my car too- here in Germany its some top notch stuff-- its even what BMW uses from the factory.

just a word of advice-- I don't know how mechanical you are-- but i would go there and pull EVEYTHING possible off the car-- painter like to skimp on pulling anything extra off a car if they can.
stuff like pulling the inner supports of the bumpers are so nice later--no one sees it, but you know there is NO overspray on that stuff-- just like new.

    Shant,
What's going on here? Looks like he circled a spot initially to work on, then in the other picture, hasn't worked on it yet?

This is pretty much only a re paint for the price,$3,500. My door jams, engine and trunk compartment are pretty clean. Wouldnt of even re painted the car had the PO taken care of the paint a little bit better.

Looking forward to the pictures! When you say a complete repaint, are they doing engine bay, doorsills, inner trunk, the whole nine yards complete? Or not as extensive?
