    Welcome.
The paint is a lot of over spray! I'm going to take it to somone and see if it's even salvagable. If it's not, then whatev, I'll deal with it. Corduroy, haha, that's funny, it does look like that.

No kidding. Once it gets wheels, then I'll bring the girl in and make it worth taking pics of.
    Thanks!

I need to get tint first I think. It's blinding when I drive at night. Do not want.
    Thanks!

Thanks, I do really like the tan actually, it stays cooler and it's in good shape too!

Thanks! I want some ellips, just trying to figure out the going rate for everything and fixing some needed things, like left front lower ball joint, just found out it's janky at best. Needs new rear shock upper mounts, they are shot and rattling. Looks like the past installer was a hack :(. Gotta fix my exhaust leak too. Next week I'm going to tape off that lower panel and spray it black and see how it turns out.

Thanks again everyone! What's the best option for that lower ball joint? I can get the lower ball joint for around $40.00. Is it pressable or should I just get new control arms?

Am I the only one that likes sealed beams? For a daily driver, if I break one, its extremely cheap. Elipsoids have better lighting though.

I need to adjust my lights. They are way out of wack. Guess I need to figure out how to do that. Haven't looked yet. I always forget until night time comes.. lol

1: cool car except for the tan interior.
2: i bet a handful of screws is missing from the repaint
3: why do guys take pictures in front of their cars as that is reserved for scantily dressed women
I'd rather bag your mom than my car :D

Remove the headlight grills(black line thingys), pop the hood, then you'll see little white knobs that you twist to adjust the headlights

Why does everyone hate on the tan?

I dont think any screws are missing, because they clearly just taped off things since there is over spray everywhere. :|

The front of the car is the only part that looks good. The wheels are horrible, looks wise and condition. The trunk lid had an M3 badge on it....so once I get that off I'll take a picture of the rear. lol

welcome! I like being a newb just as much as the seasoned vet... always much to learn. I am pretty fond of the euro smileys myself when it comes to lights, to each their own...use the search thread...alot. when it comes time to start work on your car, their are plenty of forums that have put together a chronological shopping list for you to slowly re-build yourself a kick-ass e30.

hey man it looks like a great car to start with. Maybe I missed it but has noone mentioned the timing belt? Either ensure it's been changed recently or change it yourself. I actually like the tan interior too.

Thanks! Surprisingly they don't look too bad. I didn't spend too much time on the. Just sandblasted with some abrasive material, then put engine de-greaser on them, let them sit. Used a power washer, let dry, then used some $7.50 spray paint. There's dust and some other small things, but you wouldn't even be able to tell unless you were staring at the wheels. They are black so it's hard to tell if they look amazing or not. I say DO IT! Well worth it!
