    Meow.

    Yep, I'm new.

Out of 8 cars so far, this is the first rwd thing I've owned.

Basically your typical clapped out rusty run of the mill '86 325. No clue how many miles on it, as the odo was apparently stopped at 220k when the PO bought it, and he swapped clusters in an effort to make the speedo work (which it still does not). I traded a saab 900 turbo for it.

Someone did care about it, though, as it has an MSD coil, bavauto wires, a full stock I exhaust, and the suspension is in decent shape. And an LSD that works nice. I was pleased to find this when I cracked open the ECU.

I need to change the front strut bearings and fix the cluster now and plan on doing a tbelt, diff fluid and trans fluid change, a new guibo and support bearing, and rebuilding the shift linkage within the next couple weeks. Should make a pretty solid beater. Will probably also fix the ac and swap in cruise and a 13 button obc at some point.

Welcome. Looks pretty nice. Mudflaps and roof rack look good. I should have both of those things on my car soon.

Ha, the roof racks I had kicking around for a vw rabbit I have, and the mudflaps came on it. Did those mudflaps come on all e30s?

          Looks clean.
I'd like two things on your car I don't have:
          1. A second bike attachment.
          2. Mudflaps.

          Welcome!

Not too many E30's have mudflaps. BTW is your username from what I think it is?

And after soldering a new pigtail onto the leftmost plug of the cluster (the white one), the speedo works and the rest of the cluster is no longer crazy.

                      Awesome.

These cars are really quite reasonable to work on. Everything makes sense. The last few cars I owned were old saabs, which were less than a treat for fixing even trivial things.
