Whats worth keeping in a E28

I have an e28 2.8L Auto. cant put back on the road.

I plan to take the motor, wiring, diff, auto box.

Can the brakes be used on my e30 conversion project

Is there anything special worth saving?

Has anybody done the 2.8L M30 with a Getrag 240?

Anybody know any good sites
