Special, no. I think it's one of those interior colors that wasn't very popular when these cars were new so there aren't many around. Rare in that sense. I didn't like mine when I first got the car but it grew on me.

BMW is a luxury car. They pretty much offer any exterior with any interior for the right price. I'm not surprised somebody thought it was rare, because frankly i doubt he has seen every single e30 and every single interior. HAHA nub.
