I wish people cleaned up their messes

Came back from a nice outting at a BBQ place to find this. ( Sorry for shitty cell pics)

    Here is the culprit!

The car is parked in my friends driveway down the street and the people that share the driveway have been doing work on their deck. Everytime I walk by to get to my car I scout the area for nails/screws but I hadn't been there today to check and didn't get to find this guy till it was too late. I looked around after and grabbed a picture of a nail that's just lying in the perfect spot as well.

Not really sure what to do, never had to deal with other peoples garbage being in the driveway. Any suggestions?

Sucks. When you see him working walk over and ask him how things are coming along, and go from there..

I'm not even sure how I would go about doing this? I'm in Providence and the guy doing work is a landlord that rents to anybody, honor/pride will not be involved.

Last time I had a nail in the tire it was only $25 for the local tire place to patch it, but I would at least ask him to try to keep your driveway cleaner.

Maybe he's gay, and tossing that onto your driveway is his way of asking if you want to "screw"?

So wait, YOU parked YOUR car in someone's driveway and now YOU want someone else to pay for something that happened to YOUR car because of where YOU parked YOUR car?

Just go get the fucker patched, if you knew they were working on the deck you shouldn't have parked there.

I parked MY car in my friends and landlords other house's driveway and the POS neighbor doesnt clean his workspace up, I shouldn't have to park elsewhere because he is too lazy to clean up. They make magnets for a reason and it shouldn't be my responsibility. If this were a random nail in the road who gives a fuck but it wasn't. I'd like someone to take care of their mess.

PS George: I'll see if he is trying to go that way and post pics.

This is confusing. As long as it took to make this thread. A patch could of been put in the screw hole.

Sorry for the bandwidth waste. Never had to deal with a flat that wasn't my fault, not sure of how to deal with it. I've never used a patch either, are they ok with say autox driving?

Thread was made after I first saw it, tires are less than 3 months old and was looking to r3v for its unlimited wisdom.

I like my gay neighbor theory best. Lets all just assume that.

I think you're really onto something there.

Shit happens, get it patched. If your friend wants their shared driveway nail free then that is his battle, not yours.

Get the landlord to patch YOUR tire. Going of the homo theory, it's what he wants you to do.

if it went straight in it shouldn't be to bad. Be a man, go to local parts store and buy a $10 patch kit, and do it yourself. it will come handy in the future.
