So I assume the long wheelbase is denoted by the long rear quarter glass. Any links to the differences? -
Yeah, I'm assuming it's not the pricey model, but I'll be on it anyway. Pics in a day or so.Leave a comment:

You talking an Ur Quattro?
Details.
Any questions on these cars, please ask. I've had the pleasure of owning one for the last 10 years.Last edited by Sepp; 07-18-2010, 04:31 PM.Leave a comment:

I think he was confused, and was talking about the price of the Sport Quattros....which really do go for that price.
That '85 is fucking nice btw...except for that steering wheel, and the rear spoiler isn't original.Leave a comment:

Please let me know where this car is.
It's an '84. Less than 10 in Canada.
One of the rarest year cars in North America.
The worlds first production car with a turbocharged engine, and AWD.
It re-wrote the book of rally racing overnight.
Pretty special!Leave a comment:

Those are all long wheelbase Quattros.
They (in the states) range from 5K for a POS, up to 20K for a minter.
..except the last one, with white wheels, that's a 20v version...not avalible in the States. 30K for that one in nice condition.
The Sports (SWB) are in the price range you're speaking of.
Only 5 in the States.
You can grab a decent LWB Quattro, (Ur Quattro) for 10K, swap out the engine from one that is out of a '91 100, or 92-94 S4, which is very easily modded up to 400+ with easy bolt-ons.
With the stock Ur Quattro engine, you're looking at a peak modified HP of just a tad less than 300. (without spending more than the aforementioned swap)
Fabulous cars. Even stock (160-200 HP) they are a blast to drive, and very well much worth the hype.Leave a comment:

You a fan? The guy told me that if I show up tomorrow and made an offer I'd probably be driving it home :D
He said he's owned it for 10 years, it never saw a weekday, rain, snow, or high winds. Speedo stopped working 2 years ago and he never fixed it because it doesn't get driven.
Now I gotta decide if I continue searching for a Merc, porsche, or replace my 600rr with this (btw, it'd be getting painted white): http://milwaukee.craigslist.org/mcy/1848768456.htmlLeave a comment:
