That picture doesnt show how dull the finish is, but its pretty dull. If you spray your tails you MUST clear them with a automotive clear so the luster stays. People that clear them with Testors clear have dull faded tails.

Testors paint is not formulated for UV and general outdoor exposure.
So, if you window tinted the tails and used an automotive clear finish, it would look "acceptable" to you? Or would it still look like ass?

Yep, that was me! Had to get some food at Subway. The car made the trek to school (WSU) for the first time so I'm happy. Watch out for some video, I'm gonna be filming my car a bit here

They are spraypainted lights with a auto clear over them, they are only dirty right now, and are still glossy when washed. The 6hr drive grimes up the car pretty good...
      Glossy.

I was only running 7psi on the drive over, so probably only 250ish whp. Makes well over 300whp at 12-15psi. I will get on the dyno again this summer.

Anyway, do you go to WSU too? Maybe we should get together some time, i know some other car guys here too. I live in Pine Ridge Apts, my cell is 360-259-7792. Where do you live? I've seen a black 2002 with gti seats in it last year up here at Pine Ridge (top of Merman drive).

Here are more pics from the drive.

      Too much luggage haha.

Matt I do go to WSU as well. I live on Turner Dr behind Teryaki Joes. Unfourtanetly I discovered more frame damage to the 2002 than I thought it had when I bought it so its at home right now. I have seen the black square around town with the BBS RAs, but mines a roundie. Im driving the silver Thunderbird SC with the custom barbed wire fence front graphics right now.

I dont have an E30 yet (Ive been looking all over) but I would definately be down with a get together if you have one in Pullman. I live near Tacoma on the west side as well so hopefully I can attend any gatherings over there in the summer time.

My cell here is 509-979-5522 and my name is Nick.

Your E30 is set up extremely tastefully. It made my day checking it out.

I was just repeating how Matt said that he tinted his taillights. Forget it.

Its actually running awesome right now, I tweaked the part throttle fuel curve in megasquirt so I get about 20mpg now when not boosting, I'm pretty happy with that! Otherwise, its running strong, only doing 7psi on the drive over because I didnt want to blow up my engine... lol I'll turn it back up, it felt too slow...

Other than that, I really want to raise my exhaust higher, but dont have a welder around here... And I also want to route my wastegate back into the downpipe, instead of venting atmospherically, it will flow better, and I will be able to hear the turbo and detonation (if any) better.

I couldnt leave it at home at this time of year, its just getting too nice out, I need transportation heh.

Werd Matt, I know you were going crazy without your car around!

Glad to hear that she's running so well, after all the issues you'd been having before. Can't wait to see her again. 5 months.
