Having to depress the clutch is the whole issue with auto start...if you dont have to depress it then the car could start.

I want to do remote start, but I dont like the idea of leaving my car in neutral and only using the ebrake.. I guess I could just only use it on surfaces where I know it wont roll..

Umm get a good e-brake man. I ALWAYS leave my car in neutral with the e-brakew up it's safe.

thats the whole point of the ebrake, despite what the best motoring videos show. I've always been a little wary of people with automatics who just put the car in park and dont use the ebrake. That has to put un-needed stress on the tranny

Nights hit like 50-60 degrees, and I still warm my car up in the morning :P

I just wake up, walk outside, start my car and turn on the heater, go inside, get ready and when I come out my car is ready :P

if you really are concerned, the compustar 2000as alarm has a setting where you can have the car start and run for 15 or so minutes if it ever falls below xx degrees

So in the middle of a night your car will start up randomly even if you aren't driving the car in the morning?
