    New guy. Thanks everybody for great info

    It's been pick up's and vans for the last 5 years working with motorcycles. A recent Audi track day got me re inspired. Always wanted an e30 and got lucky. Really lucky. One owner 84 318i, local, all records, garaged and stock. My plan was to find a rough one cheap and build for trackdays, autox and daily beater. I got this car for $1800.00 and it's..Awesome. Suspension stuff on the way. And thanks for all the great information here.

    Update: Looks good....Goes good.

    My 84 318 is was bone stock. 142,000 miles with OG suspension......Zero oil in the front struts all spring. New Biltsein's, H&R lowering springs, Eibach sway bars and ESM 16x7.5's. All specs/info aquired here. Works awesome, feels great, more to come. Thanks.

                  That would be over the top for such an original condition E30. And 32ish MPG has been awesome.

                              Wheels are new ESM 002 16x7.5, with new 205/45-16 Yokohama Parada Spec-2. Four lug 4x100 +25. These are going to be for sale if anybodies interested. J
