I bought the car at an insurance auction for a couple hundred bucks. Was just planning to part it out, but it was so clean in the interior and low miles (just over a 100k), that I couldn't bring myself to scrap it out. It was a vegas car, so it had very little rust..... plus, since it was hit in the rear end, there was no damage to the suspension or drive line. Finally, since I'd never replaced a rear quarter panel before, I decided to do it just to see how much work it was. It wasn't actually that bad. Cleaning up the parts off of the gold car was a big part of the work. If I had had an aftermarket quarter panel it would have been a lot easier.Originally posted by freeride53 View Post
